     I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in 1969 and my Juris Doctor in 1972 from the University of Michigan.  I have always specialized in litigation and have tried more than 200 cases to judgment with excellent results.

     My background is in personal injury defense with an emphasis on professional and products liability.  I also have extensive experience in construction-related litigation, employment practice defense and complex commercial disputes.

     While my background is as a trial lawyer, I recognize the importance of alternative dispute resolution, and I always welcome mediation or arbitration whenever it is in my client's best interests.
